Cheongju Int’l Airport Records 2 Mn Passengers in 2015

(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) The Cheongju International Airport recorded 2 million passengers in 2015 for the first time in 18 years.


The Korea Airports Corporation Cheongju Branch held a ceremony on December 10 to celebrate the 2 million passenger mark at the Cheongju International Airport.

The Cheongju Branch expects the number of passengers to reach 2.1 million by the end of the year.

Considering that more international flights will be established in 2016, the number of passengers via the Cheongju International Airport is likely to reach the 2.5 million-level next year.
