(JECHEON=Yonhap News) With the approval from North Chungcheong Province, Jecheon City announced January 2 that it will begin construction of the No. 3 Jecheon industrial complex.
The No. 3 Jecheon industrial complex, co-developed by Jecheon City and the Chungbuk Development Corporation, will be built on 1,122,285㎡ of land with KRW 132 billion of investment.
The complex will be home to companies in food and beverage, medical substances and supplies, electric equipment, machineries and fine chemicals.
The city plans to complete the construction of the No. 3 Jecheon industrial complex by 2018.
The city expects the industrial complex will create KRW 520 billion of added value and 5,000 new jobs.
