Chungju City Invests KRW 4.5 Bn in Supplying Clean Energy

According to Yonhap News,

(CHUNGJU=Yonhap News) Chungju City will invest KRW 4.5 billion in supplying clean energy to traditional markets.

According to the city on January 21, the city has been selected for the new and renewable energy convergence support project and will invest KRW 2.33 billion of national expenses and KRW 2.17 billion of city expenses in supplying the clean energy.

The city plans to install 24 photovoltaic generating facilities, 7 geothermal generating facilities and 1 fuel cell generating facility to traditional markets and special education schools.

The city signed an agreement with the Korea Energy Agency and Doosan Corporation for the convergence support project on January 15 to cooperate in reducing energy cost and establishing green growth infrastructure.
