(OKCHEON=Yonhap News) Okcheon County announced March 23 that Geumcheon Co., Ltd., a medical device manufacturer, signed a USD 1 million export contract with a Hong Kong company.
Geumcheon Co., Ltd., which moved to a medical device agro-industrial complex in Gapung-ri in 2010, produces thermo therapy mattresses.
The company participated in the 2016 Global Bio Medical Plaza, which was held from March 17 to March 20 at COEX in Seoul, and signed a USD 1 million export contract with a Hong Kong distributor.
Geumcheon Co., Ltd. has so far exported medical equipment worth USD 80,000 to countries including Japan, China and Hong Kong.
"We will make the best use of the export contract with the Hong Kong company to enter the foreign markets," said Geumcheon CEO Park Hyeon-jong.
