(CHUNGJU=Yonhap News) Chungju City has been named the most corporate-friendly city in Korea for four consecutive years, according to the Korea Master Brand Awards 2016 held on April 26.
The city received high marks for expanding infrastructure, improving its investment environment and building a network for labor-management cooperation.
The city plans to develop the west Chungju area comprising the Chungju Corporate City, Chungju High-tech Industrial Complex and Chungju Megapolis into a growth base of the Central Inland region of Korea.
The city has attracted KRW 240 billion of investment from 53 companies since 2015.
