CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEJEON=Yonhap News) Daejeon City held the 2016 Chungcheong Region Venture Plaza, an exhibition for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and venture companies in Chungcheong region, jointly with South and North Chungcheong Provinces at COEX, Seoul, on October 12, 2016.

A total of 63 SMEs and venture businesses, 21 from each three regions, showcased their products to domestic and foreign buyers and held consultations on export, technology transfer, and investment.

74 exhibition booths were set up classified by business sectors including bio, food, electrical and electronic, components, environment, and energy. Promotion of each region's creative economy programs and specialized industries was conducted as well.

The exhibition has been hosted by Daejeon, South Chungcheong, and North Chungcheong in turn since 2002. Last year's event drew 7,500 participants and led to 289 buyer consultation meetings.
