According to Yonhap News,

(JINJU/CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology (KICET), based at the Jinju Innovative City in North Gyeongsang Province, announced April 2 that it has completed construction of the Convergence Bio Ceramic Center in Cheonju City, North Cungcheong Province.

KRW 19.8 billion was spent on building the new center, designed to serve as an outpost for the bio industry, on a site of 4,959 square meters within the Osong Bio Technopolis in Osong-eup, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju.

KICET plans to finish installing all facilities and equipment by the end of this year, and begin developing technology for ceramic materials and providing support to related companies.

The center will work to establish an organic cooperation network with external organizations, such as government agencies, universities, research institutes, and companies, in addition to serving as a one-stop source of business solutions from the initial stage of production to product testing, evaluation, and commercialization.
