(CHEONGJU=Yonhap News) Chungbuk-do, Cheongju-si and Nepes signed an investment agreement worth KRW 280 billion on March 12.
Nepes plans to build a factory in Cheongju by 2022.
The company also commits to purchasing materials locally and recruit local people.
Nepes is an exporter of advanced system semiconductor fine process services, and came to be located in the province in 1990.
A governor said, "We will not spare any administrative support in helping this company grows into a global leader".
