Cheongju Oct 23 (Yonhap) -- A project is launched to build general industrial complex in Cheongju Hi-Tech Valley located in Gangnae-myeon and Dongmak-dong of Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju. Cheongju city government announced on Oct. 23 that Cheongju Hi-tech Valley Co. Ltd. will establish a 1,040,000㎡ industrial complex by 2022 with a budget of KRW 236.4 billion.
The plan is to focus on attracting businesses related to the bio industry of nearby Osong.
Cheongju Hi-Tech Valley will hold a joint briefing session for the construction of the industrial complex on Nov. 1. Cheongju City plans to collect the feedbacks of citizens regarding the planned industrial complex through Dec. 3.
"Administrative support will be provided for the successful establishment of the industrial complex," said an official of Cheongju City.
