Huons to make its new production plant by the end of the year 2024 in Jecheon
Jecheon city, North Chungcheong Province signed an investment pact with Huons on May 15, a pharma company located inside the 1st industrial complex, for a new production facility in the community.
Huons rolled out the plan to establish a new factory which will come into a 18,143㎡ cluster site by the end of 2024. Once the process is over, they’re expected to get ready to start full production, having nearly 100 new employees to be hired.
The pharmaceutical company which has manufactured collyrium and injections since its foundation in 1965 over the last 55 years, moved to Jecheon city in 2009.
Huons also unveiled its scholarship program, making a KRW 500 million worth of donation (KRW 100 million each for five years) to the city foundation at the MOU signing ceremony.
