A new town of West Chungju city will add a couple of industrial complex. The city of Chungju announced an investment MOU for new local business clusters in the form of private-public joint investment partnership with three key players, Hoban Construction LTD., Samwon and Kyobo Securities Co., Ltd, on May 29.

By creating a special purpose entity with four separate parties to fund KRW 100 million, the city will help spur the investment project next year. One of the clusters, Buphyeon business complex, turned out to be established on a 288,681㎡ site near Joongangtap-myeon with KRW 66.7 billion by the end of 2025.

The other one which costs KRW 48.1 billion, Biz-core-city complex, is announced to be set up near Judeok-uep, which sprawls across 295,770㎡ until 2024.
These two additional clusters are highly anticipated to attract 30 more residents, bringing out production and employment -inducing effect, worth KRW 171 billion, and 772 new employees, respectively.
