According to Yonhap News,

North Chungcheong Province signed a partnership deal with Korea Food Service Industry Association (KFSIA) Chungbuk Office, National Association of Mayors (NAM), Korean Woman’s Federation for Consumers (KWFC) and a local telemarketer for the authority-led food delivery app development. The deal entails detailed provisions on cutting food delivery brokerage fees and duties on each entity for advertisement.

To help small restaurant owners economically stay afloat, the app pushes down delivery charge to 1.5 percent on order and runs quick-delivery service. The authorities involved take the role of marketers, encouraging the use of this new delivery app.

Going through probationary periods for a while to let local residents learn more on the app, the service kicks off on September 10.
