Farmers growing Korean ginseng in JeungPyeong-gun, North Chuingcheong Province has resumed ginseng export to Vietnam. National Agriculture Cooperative Federation Chungbuk office announced the shipment of ginseng products weighing 86.4㎏ on Mar 5.br>
JeungPyeong-gun has successfully broken in and opened new sales channels in Vietnam, signing an export contract in October 2019. But soon after the outbreak of a novel corona virus has swept across the entire world, the transaction has suddenly suspended since July last year. JeungPyeong-gun set a target sales volume estimated to be 1,000㎏ this year. br>
In order to make locally grown ginseng products the best-selling, flagship brands acknowledged worldwide, JeungPyeong-gun and National Agriculture Cooperative Federation Chungbuk office signed an MOU over business-support partnership to promote export, while reaching a mutual agreement to help product packaging.
