CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

North Chungcheong Province and Eumseong-gun announced that they had signed an investment agreement with Kukjeon Pharmaceutical for the establishment of a plant related to raw materials on September 9.

The signing ceremony was attended by Chungbuk's governor, Eumseong's governor, and Kukjeon Pharmaceutical's CEO.

Kukjeon Pharmaceutical will invest 100 billion won in the Seongbon Industrial Complex in Eumseong over the next 10 years, to establish a new factory producing raw materials and conduct research on the development of secondary battery electrolyte.

The provincial government is committed to providing support in the process of various licenses and permits to ensure the company to do its business smoothly in the region.

Kukjeon Pharmaceutical is a company that produces raw materials such as new drug substances. The company is a supplier to more than 17 companies, reflecting the high quality and stable supply of its high purity and high yield benfotiamine (vitamin B1).
