According to Yonhap News,

Chungbuk-do and Jecheon-si singed a memorandum of understanding on May 23 to expand the infrastructure of eco-friendly FCEVs and the reach of Chungcheong energy service Co.,Ltd.

Chungcheong energy service Co.,Ltd. said it will invest KRW 10 billion, including KRW 7 billion of state funding, to build liquid hydrogen fueling stations in Jecheon by 2025.

Since the estimated capacity of the fueling stations is 80 hydrogen-powered buses per day, the construction project is expected to make a huge contribution to delivering on the promise of FCEVs.

Chungbuk-do and Jecheon-si are going to give administrative supports in, for instance, authorization and permission to ensure the construction project is seamlessly carried out as planned.

An official of Chungbuk-do said, "We will continue to work on expanding the FCEV infrastructure while keeping our mind the core mission of this project is to make sure FCEV drivers won't feel any inconvenience when behind the wheel."
