On November 14, Chungju-si, Chungbuk-do that five local SMEs signed export contracts worth USD 1.9 million (KRW 2.6 billion) at 2024 Canton Fair, held in Guangzhou, China.
The city joined hands with Chungbuk Business Agency, selecting and supporting five companies including Naturelica, in order to strengthen export competitiveness.
The Fair, held for five days starting from October 31, drew more than 190,000 buyers from 120 countries.
Naturelica will export fruit liquor worth USD 1.05 million; wellbiotec, cultured wild and red ginseng roots drinks worth USD 800,000; Seorim Metal, accessories worth USD 35,000; and Farmtech, feed additives worth USD 20,000.
With the export contracts these products will enter the markets of six countries, including China, Australia, and Tunisia.
