CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Chungbuk-do, Cheongju-si, and the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the KTR Cosmetics and Bio Research Institute at Osong Advanced Complex Medical Industrial Complex on November 26.

The research institute, which will serve as a basis for commercialization of global clean cosmetics, has a total floor area of 3,682㎡ and two floors above the ground, equipped with more than 600 types of equipment, will support product development and commercialization testing and inspection of cosmetics and bio companies.

It will also support localization of alternative raw materials, technical services for transition to clean cosmetics-based production, and manpower training.

The total project cost is KRW 12.5 billion, with the completion target set for November next year.
