Okcheon-gun signed an investment agreement with two companies

According to Yonhap News,



On May 29, Okcheon-gun, Chungbuk-do signed an investment agreement worth KRW 9 billion with DS Metal and Kumkang Electric Industry.

These companies will set up production facilities in a 7,144㎡ Medical Device Agro-industrial Complex (Guil-ri, Okcheon-eup) and a 3,613㎡ Techno Valley (Guil-ri, Okcheon-eup) by 2026.

DS Metal, a metal fabrication company, will relocate its headquarters from Cheongju, which was established in 2015, while Kumkang Electric Industry, a manufacturer of electric motors and generators, will build its first factory.

An official from Okcheon-gun stated, "We will provide administrative and financial support to ensure these two companies successively settle in the region."
