According to Yonhap News,

On August 13, C&C International, a global cosmetics ODM company, announced that it has signed an investment agreement with Chungbuk-do and Cheongju-si to build a new factory in Cheongju with an investment of KRW 130 billion.

Under the agreement, C&C International will establish a combined production facility for color cosmetics and skincare on a 64,000㎡ (19,361-pyeong) site in the Cheongju Central Valley. The company plans to hire approximately 800 new employees by 2027.

Construction of the new factory in Cheongju will begin in November, with a target completion date of March 2027.

Once operational, the Cheongju factory will increase C&C International's annual production capacity from the current 450 million units to over 1.45 billion units.

C&C International plans to secure orders more stably, as well as expand its skincare portfolio through the new factory in Cheongju.

The company stated, "We aim to create a successful model that contributes to job creation and regional economic revitalization through close cooperation with the local community."
