Cheongju's four local cosmetics companies signed export MOUs in Vietnam

On October 14th, Cheongju-si announced that four local companies participating in the K-beauty marketing event held in Hanoi, Vietnam on October 12th have signed export memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with local companies.

The event was organized by the Cheongju Cosmetics Industry Association and the Cheongju Overseas Trade Office in Vietnam, with 13 local cosmetics SMEs participating.

Cosmetics manufacturer Vunique Cosmetics and mask pack specialist Fanipin Korea each signed export MOUs worth KRW 1 billion.

Ampoule specialist Saimdang Cosmetics (KRW 500 million) and basic cosmetics company Pomedeci (KRW 300 million) also joined the agreements.

During the SME export consultation meeting held the previous day, 100 export consultations were conducted, and construction equipment manufacturer Chungcheong signed an MOU worth KRW 7.1 billion.

Cosmetics companies, including Beauty Collagen, visited local mid-sized company BV Life on the same day to collaborate on cosmetics manufacturing training and share information on the cosmetics industry in both countries.

Cheongju Mayor stated, "We will continue to actively support the expansion of overseas markets for SMEs, led by the Cheongju Overseas Trade Office."

The Cheongju Overseas Trade Office plays a key role in market research, buyer discovery, export consultations, and various export support programs.
