Cheongju-si and the Ochang Intelligence Park Consortium signed a basic agreement for the development of the 'Ochang 4th General Industrial Complex.'
On November 10, Cheongju-si signed a basic agreement with the Ochang Intelligence Park Consortium for the development of the 'Ochang 4th General Industrial Complex.'
Under the agreement, two parties will establish a collaborative framework to push forward with the project.
The Ochang 4th Industrial Complex, covering approximately 4.8 million square meters in Ochang-eup and Okseon-myeon, aims to become a new industrial hub in the central region with a comprehensive transportation network and mixed-use city functions.
The total project cost is estimated at KRW 2.2 trillion.
Cheongju's mayor stated, "We will work actively with private developers to build a creative industrial complex, which will revitalize the local economy by attracting high-quality companies and generating quality jobs."
