Chungbuk-do signed MOU with KOSA to establish 'AX Industry Innovation Ecosystem'
On November 25th, Chungbuk-do signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA) and the Chungbuk Innovation Institute of Science & Technology to establish "Chungbuk AX Industry Innovation Ecosystem" ahead of the opening ceremony of the "AI Festa 2025" at Cheongju Osco.
Through this agreement, the institutions will collaborate to: promote AI transformation (AX) in the region’s materials, parts, and equipment industries; build a network between KOSA member suppliers and Chungbuk demand companies; and cooperate in the training of AI and software (SW) professionals.
Chungbuk's Governor stated, "This agreement is significant as it establishes a practical partnership to fully integrate AI transformation into Chungbuk’s industrial field. We will expand cooperation across all areas, including education, research, and industry, to help local companies utilize AI as a growth strategy."
Meanwhile, the "AI Festa 2025," which opened following the MOU ceremony, is the largest digital convergence festival in the Chungcheong region and will continue until November 27th.
The event features over 50 domestic and international innovation companies and organizations, including MS Korea, KT, and EcoPro, showcasing Chungbuk’s AI industry competitiveness and technological capabilities through various programs.
