Chungju-si attracted two companies at the Dream Park Industrial Complex, with KRW 175 bn investment
On December 8, Chungju-si, Chungbuk-do announced that Tanyong Environmental Development, a company specializing in construction waste processing, and Korea Good Technology (KGT), a precision equipment and machinery manufacturer, will move into the Dream Park Industrial Complex in Jungangtap-myeon.
The city signed an investment agreement worth KRW 175 billion with the two companies.
Tanyong Environmental Development, a local company based in Chungju, will invest KRW 150 billion by next year to build a three-story logistics center (with a total floor area of 108,000㎡) on a 66,100㎡ site within the complex. KGT will invest KRW 25 billion to establish a production line (3,300㎡).
Chungju's mayor stated, “The relocation of these two companies is expected to create more than 470 jobs,” adding, “This investment agreement will serve as a catalyst for full-scale lot sales at the Dream Park Industrial Complex.”
The Dream Park Industrial Complex is scheduled for completion in 2028 and will cover an area of 277,672㎡.
