Jincheon-gun surpassed the KRW 1 tn mark in investment attraction this year, attracting 653 companies in 10 yrs
On December 10, Jincheon-gun, Chungbuk-do announced that it has signed investment attraction agreements worth KRW 1.04 trillion as of the end of November this year.
Since the inauguration of Mayor Song Gi-seop in 2016, the county has surpassed KRW 1 trillion in investment attraction for 10 consecutive years.
Over the past 10 years, the cumulative investment attracted has reached approximately KRW 15.1 trillion.
From 2016 to the present, the county has attracted 653 companies, creating new jobs for around 19,500 people.
The county explained that these investments have led to expanded industrial infrastructure, job creation, population growth, improved living conditions, and an increase in local government finances.
