(Cheongju = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Hyeong-woo – Cheongju City announced on the 29th that it is recruiting participating enterprises for the "2026 Cheongju City K-Bio Global Bridge" project until the 12th of next month.

Hosted by the city and managed by the Chungbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, this project was designed to support startups in the regional biohealth sector expanding into international markets.

Supports are targeted toward biohealth startups headquartered in Cheongju with a business history of more than three years and less than seven years.

The city plans to select a total of seven enterprises through an uation process.

Selected enterprises will be provided with opportunities to participate in domestic and international global expansion programs, alongside KRW 15 million in commercialization funds per enterprise.
