CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Eumseong-gun in the northern Chungcheong Province was ranked No.1 in management achievement sector in the evaluation for competitiveness of local regions conducted by Korea Public Administration Institute.

According to Eumseong, the evaluation was conducted based on 20 indicators, such as the local economy, quality of life and the growth rate of population as compared to last year, and Eumseong got good grades in the general sector of economic power, education, culture and medicine.

The region was also ranked No.7 among guns (districts) in the comprehensive evaluation.

The institute reports competitiveness of local regions every year and the evaluation is classified into management base, activity and achievement and the comprehensive sector.
