From Feb. 19, northern Chungcheong Province Lee Si-jong plans to visit Malaysia and the U.S. for foreign investment promotion.
According to the northern Chungcheong Province on Feb. 6, Governor Lee plans to visit a low-cost airline company in Malaysia on Feb. 20, in order to discuss how to cooperate in establishing an airline maintenance complex in Cheongju Airport in partnership with the company.
Right after finishing the schedule, he will fly to New York on the next day to exchange MOU for successful hosting of 2013 Osong Cosmetics & Beauty World EXPO with the New York Beauty Association. The event is scheduled to be held in Cheongwon-gun, northern Chungcheong Province.
The governor will also visit the U.N. Secretary General Ban Gi-mun, who also comes from the province, to ask for cooperation in successfully completing 2013 Chungju World Rowing Championships.
On Feb. 22, he will exchange the 100 billion KRW-worth-MOU on investment promotion cooperation with Gould Pump, an industrial oil pump and aviation component manufacturer.
On Feb. 23, the governor will be accompanied by 12 people including a manager in charge of investment promotion in the northern Chungcheong Province.
