Governor Lee Visits Yamanashi, Japan to mark the 20-Year Sister City Affiliation

According to Yonhap News,  

A delegation group, led by north Chungcheong Province Governor Lee Si-jong, visited Yamanashi, Japan from last Friday to Sunday in commemoration of the province's 20-year sister city affiliation with the Japanese prefecture.

The group began its visit with signing a cooperation agreement with 10 Japanese business leaders in Tokyo to expand the exports of Chungbuk's good-quality products to Japan.

The next day, it participated in the celebration ceremony for the 20-year sister city affiliation with about 200 local people attending. After the event, it also visited a photovoltaic power station.

The delegation plans to invite 40 Japanese people from cosmetics and beauty and tourism sectors to Osong Cosmetics & Beauty Expo, scheduled to be held in Chungbuk next year.
