Jecheon Mayor Choi Myeong Hyeon inked a 30 billion won-investment agreement with Jo Byeong-bak, CEO of Red & Green Food CO., LTD. to build a production facility for salted cabbage and radish in the Bio Valley No. 2 in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do (province).

Under the agreement, the food company will build a 33,060 square meter-facility by next June. If completed, the facility will generate about 100 jobs, the city expects.

The city will provide all possible administrative supports to complete the construction as scheduled.

"We will maintain our efforts to attract good companies to Jecheon, which will result in boosting the local economy and creating quality jobs," said a city official.
