CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

Lee Si Jong, Governor of Chungcheongbuk-do (Province), said at a provincial seminar, held at Jecheon City Hall Wednesday, "We will provide all possible supports to develop Jecheon into a health, resort and tourism city pursuing harmony with the nature."

As a center of transportation network in the central inland area connecting Chungcheongbuk-do, Gangwon-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do, Jecheon is also well-known for beautiful natural environments including Cheongpung Lake and Uirimji Reservoir.

Governor Lee pledged the implementation of various projects including Chungcheong Inland Highway, the 2nd phase balanced development strategy project, tourism development projects and Jecheon Drama Production Cluster.

He attributed Chungcheongbuk-do's achievement to its citizens saying that "Without supports of our citizens, we couldn't secure the record-high government budget worth 3.8964 trillion won and record 1.6 million in the number of the total population this year."
