According to Jecheon city Monday, Bbcnf, which manufactures functional cosmetic products, made an export contract of USD 200,000 with a cosmetics distributor in Thailand.
Bbcnf produces the products from medicinal herbs which received approvals for good agricultural practices.
The products are used to regenerate damaged cells and balance the skin.
BBcnf will be exporting its products of USD 1 million to China and those of USD 30,000 to Japan.
It is also negotiating with cosmetic companies in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.
A Jecheon official noted that cosmetic products made with medicinal herbs are expanding its boundaries in the global market supported by Jecheon’s project to foster global competitiveness of biotechnology industry since 2011.
