Goesan Secures KRW 91.7 Bn for Its 2014 Budget
(GOESAN = Newsis) Goesan (North Chungcheong Province) announced on January 3 that it secured a total of KRW 91.7 billion for its 63 projects.
The county’s budget saw a increase of 47.5 percent in as it secured KRW 15.8 billion for 21 new projects and KRW 75.9 billion for continuing projects despite the new projects launched by the government and control of social overhead capital in 2014.
It also secured a budget of KRW 2 billion for the ISOFAR “2015 Goesan International Organic + Industry Fair”.
A total of KRW 36.9 billion will be invested in 20 projects, and new budget of KRW 10.1 billion was allocated for nine new projects including the development of the public sewage system in Oewa and Jungheung areas, construction of Mungwang health center and Goesan Veterans Hall.
Continuing projects comprise the construction of the public sewage system in Buljung, Oga and Soori (KRW 7.7 billion), construction of waste water treatment facilities for fermentation industrial complex, Daejae Industrial Complex and organic food industrial complex and development of river environment.
Special accounting projects for the regional development includes the construction work of forest culture recreational facilities, maintenance project of Mungwang-myeon, golden eco-road project of Yanggok reservoir. The total investment amounts to KRW 39.8 billion. ksw64@newsis.com
