CHUNGCHEONGBUK-DO < invest Korea

(EUMSEONG=NEWSIS)After undergoing some difficulties, the Taesaeng Industrial Complex in the County of Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province, received approval from the government.

The County announced on July 14 that the investment and borrowing assessment committee of the Ministry of Security and Public Administration (MOSPA) has conditionally approved the Taesaeng Industrial Complex project.

The conditions include reflecting the mid-term regional plan and executing two-stage evaluation when the action plan is completed.

The County will invest KRW 400 million, a 20 percent of the total investment of KRW 2 billion, to establish a special purpose company (SPC) with SK E&C, Towoo Construction and Korea Investment & Securities Co. by September.

The Taesaeng Industrial Complex (1,850,000 ㎡) will be completed by the late 2018 in the areas of Seongbong-ri and Yupo-ri.
