Boeun Attracts 5 Companies for Boeun Industrial Complex

(BOEUN=NEWSIS) Boeun County has attracted five companies for the Boeun Industrial Complex.


The county signed investment agreements with Maxcon Materials Co., Ltd. and DMC Co., Ltd. on December 22.

Maxcon Materials Co., Ltd. will invest KRW 10 billion in the industrial complex to establish a production facility on 15,000 ㎡ of land and DMC Co., Ltd. will invest KRW 2.5 billion in the complex to build a plant on 4,200 ㎡ of land.

These companies will hire 95 new jobs.

Boeun has signed investment agreements with Bokwang Chemical Co., Ltd. and Bioplan Co., Ltd. on December 16.

These companies will construct plants on 17,000 ㎡ of land in the industrial complex and hire 30 new jobs.

The County has signed a presale agreement with Seil Machinery Ind. Co., Ltd. on 10,000 ㎡ of land.

"The fact that we have attracted these companies shows that we can boost our regional economy despite the economic recession and deregulations in the metropolitan areas," said a county official.
