(CHUNCHEON=Yonhap News) Six Chinese TV stations will visit Gangwon Province to film summer attractions in the region.
A group of TV crews from Hunan TV, Wuxi TV, Anhui TV, Shanghai TV, Liaoning TV, and Xi'an TV will visit Gangwon for five days from 11 to 15 July to cover filming locations of popular Korean dramas, serene ambiance of beautiful scenery, and leisure activities in Gangwon.
Various information for tourists will be featured as well, including a large-scale water park in Hongcheon, paragliding sites, beaches along the East Sea, and facilities for the the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games.
An Interview with the Provincial Governor Choi Mun-sun is also scheduled to hear about his plan for the Olympic Games and promotion of the tourism industry.
Gangwon expects the filming will be a chance to appeal to more Chinese tourists.
