(CHUNCHEON=Yonhap News)
Gangwon Regional Office of the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) held a business meeting at Chuncheon Bears Hotel on March 11 for export expansion to Asian countries.
At the business meeting, traders from Vietnam, Japan, India, and Indonesia were invited to have one-on-one consultation with about 40 potential small and medium exporters.
The invited traders have been designated as overseas private network by SBC. They are experts in overseas marketing, engaged in trading and marketing consultation in Asian countries.
SBC plans to expand support for market entry into European and Latin American markets in the second half of this year.
A SBC official said, "Local SMEs account for about half of Gangwon's USD 2 billion exports," promising that "we will keep making efforts to help SMEs expand exports".
