Wonju in Gangwon Province organized an investment attraction seminar for public corporations, research institutes and general investors at an international conference room of Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul.

The seminar started with participants watching a video footage that introduces the Innovative City Wonju and promotes its business-friendly investment environment. After then, an industrial-academic cooperation team from Gangwon National University made a presentation about the establishment of the Innovative City Cluster and the city's investment attraction strategies and then LH and Wonju Corporate City explained about the investment environment of the innovative and corporate city.

After a series of presentations, participants had a Q&A session, got consulting services and visited exhibition booths.

Wonju officials provided investment consulting services focusing on the land use in the academic, research and industrial cluster and cutting-edge medical comprehensive complex.

"We will introduce our various land supply in Wonju seeing increasing demands for investment boosted by the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics during the seminar. I believe that the seminar can attract investment," said O Byeong-ok, an official of the Urban Development Team in Wonju.
