Businessmen doing operation abroad will gather to discuss how to establish an interactive network and sales channels for Korean-made products.

The World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Association (World-OKTA) is scheduled to hold the 14th export seminar at Alpensia Resort in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.

The seminar, co-organized by Yonhap News and Gangwon Province, will attract 300 overseas businessmen to hold a symposium under the theme of Future Direction and Strategy of World-OKTA.

The federation plans to provide consulting services for Korean SMEs that want to advance into the global market.

Gangwon will hold an investment seminar for overseas businessmen ahead of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The World-OKTA is the largest economic organization for overseas Korean traders with the establishment of networks accounting for 6,200 regular members and 8,400 next-generation members in 113 cities from 61 countries.
