The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is to hold a seminar at Alpensia Resort Convention Center in Gangwon Province to coordinate details in preparation for 2018 Pyeongchang Paralympics.
The seminar brought together representatives of the Organization Committee of 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Paralympics Committee, Gangwon's Winter Olympic Committee, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangreung City, Jeongseon-gun and resorts including YoungPyeong, Alpensia and Bokwang.
Xavier Gonzalez, Chairman of IPC, will make a presentation about detailed schedules and management of the Olympics.
The organization committee plans to reaffirm its pledges it made when it tried to win the bid for the Olympics and introduce its staff members.
"The seminar will lay the groundwork for successfully organizing the international sports event through each organization and institution working together to fulfill their roles and responsibilities of," said a Pyeongchang official.
