A huge comprehensive theme park will be built in Hoingseong, Gangwon Province.
A domestic promising constructor SHINHAN ENG. & CONST. CO., LTD. will build a theme park Dream Mountain on a 3.6 million square meter-land in Seowon-myeon by 2016 in partnership with Village Roadshow that operates the largest theme park in Australia.
A total of 1 trillion won will be injected into building Dream Mountain that will include a theme park, ski resort, luxurious hotel, and casino.
SHINHAN ENG. & CONST. purchased land through its subsidiary. It will get an approval for the theme park project by injecting 450 billion by itself and the rest necessary operating budget worth 500 billion won to be financed by foreign investors.
