According to Yonhap News,

The 2012 Gangwon Medical Equipment Show, co-hosted by Gangwon Province and Wonju City, was held in Wonju from last Thursday to Saturday.

About 50 Gangwon-based medical equipment manufacturers operated 90 booths to display their cutting-edge products.

An export seminar was also held on the sideline of the show with foreign buyers attending from 35 countries including the U.S., Germany, Japan, Malaysia and China.

Wonju Medical Industry Techno Valley planned to sign $12.56 million-export contracts during the seminar.

"The show helped Wonju emerge as the best medical industrial hub in Korea," said Lee Won-bok, chief of Wonju Medical Industry Techno Valley.
