Establishment of Marina Facilities in Sokcho to Be Financed by the Private Sector

According to Yonhap News,
Gangwon Province, Sokcho City inked an investment agreement on marina facilities with investors on Friday at the Gangwon Local Government Office.
The investors agreed to invest a total of 9 billion won to build moorages for 194 boats at Lake Cheongcho and Daepo Port, a clubhouse and a yacht repair center.
Investors already purchased necessary land around the lake and port. The lake and port management authorities will submit an application for approval and business plan to relevant government offices in next month and in the first half of this year, respectively.
Gangwon and Sokcho pledged to provide all possible administrative supports for the marina project.
