According to Yonhap News,

Gangwon Information & Multimedia Corporation (GIMC) will accelerate Korean cultural content providers' entry into the Southeast Asian market.

GIMC dispatched a delegation comprised of cultural content providers in GIMC to Malaysia in the mid-December to introduce their cultural contents.

The group visited the Multimedia University in Malaysia to ink a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for the development of contents and ICT.

It also visited the Malaysia-based Multimedia Development Corporation to discuss how to strengthen partnership between GIMC and Gangwon-based cultural content providers and Malaysian companies.

The group then visited the Malaysian state-led broadcasting company to sign a distribution contract for Cloud Bread, a popular animated film co-produced by a Korean broadcasting company and an animated film company.

After translated and dubbed, Cloud Bread will be broadcast across Malaysia in next January.

"We will move forward with various projects to make inroads into Philippine, Indonesia and Vietnam," said an official of GIMC.
