GANGWON-DO < invest Korea

Gangwon Province held a meeting hosted by Governor of Gangwon Province Choi Moon-soon Wednesday to examine progress of its growth strategy and discuss special measures to achieve growth rate of 5.2 percent.

Provincial officials, heads of economic organizations in Gangwon, representatives from various industries including construction, fishing, farming and tourism attended the meeting. The attendees discussed progress after its meeting in the first quarter.

The discussed items at the meetings will be supported by detailed quarterly plans and those necessary will be reviewed in depth for complementary measures to promote growth of Gangwon Province.

An Gangwon official noted that the province will be able to reach the target growth rate of 5.2 percent based on its growth strategies and cooperation with related agencies.
