Secuwiz to build up its R&D and production facilities in Wonju city

Secuwiz, a network security solution developer, signed an MOU on May 26 with the city of Wonju over an investment in moving its business into the municipal districts. Investing KRW 10.1 billion, Secuwiz will move its head office, research and manufacturing facility into Wonju city. With its incumbent 35 employees, the security vendor plans to hire 30 new workers, highly anticipated to bring vigor into the community economy.

With its innovative technological expertise, Secuwiz has developed VPN (virtual private network) security and encryption applications, enabling users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network.

Unveiling its aspiration to grow into one of top security solution developers within five years, Secuwiz is set to build up its R&D and production facilities across a 6,262㎡ site in Wonju city, hiring 30 local talents by the end of June in 2024.
