Natural Dream Park to be created in Goseong, Gangwon-do, utilizing deep sea water

Gangwon-do and Goseong-gun signed an MOU with 3 companies including iCOOP Solidarity of Consumer Cooperatives, (referred to as 'iCOOP KOREA' hereafter), iCCOOP organic healing research foundation, and Tetra Pack at the Gangwon Provincial Office on April 13.

They are planned to invest KRW 300 billion in 660,000 square meters in Goseong-gun to build a 'Goseong Deep Sea Water Industry Cluster' (hereafter, Goseong Natural Dream Park) by 2025, and employ 1,000 people.

Goseong Natural Dream Park will be consisted of an industrial complex and a healing complex.

Companies producing alcoholic beverages, soy sauce, and salted fish utilizing deep sea water will be moving into the industrial complex, while tourism and resort facilities and redisential treatment center will be built in the healing complex.

The iCOOP KOREA decided the 4th investment in Goseong, Gangwon-do, follwing in Gurye in Jeollanam-do, Geosan in Chungbuk-do and Cheongdo in Gyeongbuk-do.

The iCCOOP organic healing research foundation, which is operating medical facilities including oriental clinics, plans to invest in various healing complex facilities in Goseong Natural Dream Park.

Tetra Pak, a leader in aseptic packaging technology headquartered in Switzerland, plans to safely supply Natural Dream Park products to consumers.
