On June 22, the city held an appointment ceremony for the Donghae-si Hydrogen Committee members and an interim report on the establishment of a master plan for the hydrogen industry.

In accordance with the 'Ordinance on the Promotion and Support of Hydrogen Industry in Donghae-si' enacted in April, this committee consisted of a total of 15 members, including 3 ex officio members, and 12 commissioned officials from related institutions, organizations, research institutes, and companies, with the deputy mayor as the chairperson.

The committee advises on matters concerning how to foster and support the city's hydrogen industry.

In particular, it advises on matters concerning the establishment of a hydrogen industry promotion plan, matters concerning the establishment and support of policies regarding the hydrogen industry, matters concerning current issues of the hydrogen industry, and matters deemed necessary for fostering the hydrogen industry.
