Wonju Fire Station Give Fire Facilities for Housing to the Vulnerable for Free

Wonju Fire Station located in Gangwon province has handed out fire extinguishers or single station detectors to the vulnerable for free.

On Sep. 15, the station completed installing fire fighting facilities for housing for 1,512 households to the effect that the vulnerable could reduce fire damages.

The First to receive the services are the ones in low income brackets, people with disabilities, single-parent families and more.

The station, with an aim to offer the services to as many as 2,000 households by the end of next month, visited over 500 families to set up fire extinguishers and single station detectors.
