Wonju-si, Gangwon unveiled its plan to get the vulnerable vaccinated for influenza free of charge on Oct. 14. Starting from Oct. 24, people under 64 years old are eligible to get an influenza vaccine at the medical center.

Among Wonju residents, medical beneficiaries, severely disabled people, social welfare facility users, and persons of national merits are eligible to get a shot from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. And the vaccination program will be run from Oct. 24 to 28, on a five-day rotation.

Kim Jin-hee, the head of the medical center said, "we urge residents to get vaccinated as soon as possible to fend off the case of being infected with Covid-19 and influenza at the same time."
