The Gangwon Provincial Police Agency announced on Jan. 29 that the youth counseling center 'Doran Doran' would be expanded across the province.

Currently, the center is run six times a month in Chuncheon, Wonju, and Gangneung and twice a month in other regions in consideration of youth-related events and seasonal factors.

Also, seven institutions, including the police agency, have been running the center since 2021 to identify youth in difficulties.

Last year, as many as 1,168 youths used the service, and especially those struggling with school violence or economic difficulties, had conselling and received basic necessities.
